Kathy and Ross Cunningham

Lighthouse Shipping Ltd. was incorporated as a dry bulk cargo ship brokerage firm in 1995. At our helm is Ross A. Cunningham, Head Broker & President, with over 35 years of professional experience in the overseas shipping industry. Ross prides himself on maintaining long-term relationships with our clients and providing honest, impartial advice on any and all maritime bulk shipping issues both before and long after your business with our team has been concluded. His forte is providing professional advice and service in the dry bulk shipping sector to both ship owners and charterers, thereby enabling them to identify opportunities for their ships and cargoes and to negotiate timely and cost-effective deals. Ross also excels at helping first-time clients by answering all of their shipping or shipping logistics questions (for brokerages both overseas and on the Great Lakes) personally and coaching the process of shipping a waterborne commodity from beginning to end. At Lighthouse Shipping we pride ourselves on our individualized service and follow-up with each and every client.

Kathy Cunningham, Manager, is committed to excellence and efficiency when completing all post fixture documentation such as Charter Parties, Contracts of Affreightment, Time Charters & Addendums. Kathy has completed the ASBA’s ship broking and chartered vessel operations course and also holds a business degree from York University. Kathy embodies all of the best aspects of working with Lighthouse Shipping, and ensures that our clients’ needs always come first.
